01.How is my move priced?
First, one of our specialists will visit your home to assess the total volume of items that need to be moved. During this visit, we evaluate the entire space to identify any potential challenges on your moving day, as well as determine all the appropriate materials needed to pack your belongings properly.
02.What is the step-by-step process for an international move?
We begin by packing everything for the move, at the same time making an inventory of all of the items packed. We then plan the shipment, and transportation by sea may take between 15 to 20 days. Upon arrival, the customs clearance process takes place. In Brazil, the entire process takes approximately 20 days. Upon clearance, we schedule the delivery of your belongings to the final destination.
03.How long does it take to move?
It all depends on the type of move and the volume of items taken. A local move usually takes 2-3 days, depending on the volume; an interstate move may take up to 15 working days; and international moves, depending on the country of destination, may take from 30 to 60 days to complete the entire process.
04.What documentation do I need to return to Brazil?
As per the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service requirements, passengers moving to Brazil must have a valid CPF document (Brazilian individual taxpayer's registration), a valid passport, list of items, the residence certificate proving the person was living abroad, and customs declaration forms.
05.Is my move fully insured? What level of protection do you offer?
Every Confiança local move includes full-value protection. Unlike basic coverage that pays only $0.60 per pound, our premium option covers the full replacement value of your belongings. We also provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for buildings that require one.
06.Can you coordinate moves in luxury condos with strict HOA regulations?
Absolutely, this is one of our specialties. We handle elevator reservations, COI filings, loading dock scheduling, floor protection, and all building management coordination.
07.Can you store my belongings if my new home isn't ready?
Yes. We operate secure, climate-controlled storage facilities in Miami. Whether you need short-term storage for a few days or longer-term while renovations are completed, your belongings are fully insured and accessible.
08.How is pricing structured for premium local moves?
We offer transparent, flat-rate pricing based on an in-home assessment of your move. No hourly surprises, no hidden fees. The price you approve is the price you pay.
